Néroli Outrenoir is a unisex citrus-aromatic fragrance launched in 2016 by Guerlain as part of the prestigious L'Art & La Matière collection, crafted by master perfumers Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk. Inspired by the Outrenoir paintings of French artist Pierre Soulages — dense, textured black-on-black canvases that paradoxically reflect and absorb light — it delivers a breathtakingly unexpected and deeply artistic profile of startling contrasts — combining a luminous, sparkling citrus opening of petitgrain, bergamot and tangerine, with the darkest, most enigmatic heart of smoked tea and neroli, and a quietly warm base of oakmoss, myrrh, benzoin and ambrette that grounds the brightness in something hauntingly beautiful and deeply complex.
