The fragrance opens with a sharp, aromatic-spicy burst where bergamot adds a brief brightness while oregano and pimento berry immediately push a warm, herbal heat that feels dense and slightly medicinal. This creates an intense, almost overwhelming opening signature that sets the tone for the composition.
As it develops, the heart becomes resin-heavy and smoky, with frankincense and opoponax forming a thick incense core, supported by amber and labdanum which add a warm, balsamic sweetness. Cistus reinforces the resinous depth, making the composition feel richer, smoother, and more controlled compared to the original Interlude’s harsher edges.
